Giới thiệu chung
Dinant and the Upper Meuse
The valley, citadel, cliffs, villages, abbey and river landscapes are very legible.
Dinant, Citadelle de Dinant and Château de Freÿr give the most telling landmarks of Dinant and Haute Meuse. Together, they form a destination where riverscapes, heritage and natural spaces meet, with atmospheres that change over the course of the stages rather than a single uniform decor.
Xem tất cả
For a stay of 2 to 4 days, it is better to balance visits and travel times. Also to be anticipated: narrow valley roads and frequented sites in summer. A car is usually the easiest way to connect different sectors. Accessibility varies from site to site and deserves to be checked step by step.

River town
Dinant et sa collegiale
Dinant The town is very well read from the quays, where water, rock and facades make up a very recognizable river décor. The city is located in the middle of the city, and the city is very close to the cliff, with the collegiate tower at the foot of the citadel.
Citadelle
Citadelle de Dinant
The Dinant Citadel brutally dominates the city and the Meuse, with an access that already highlights the relief of the site. At the top, the views explain better than long panels the defensive position of Dinant and the spectacular narrowness of the valley.
Castle and gardens
Chateau de Freyr
The Chateau de Freyr combines elegant residence, regular gardens and banks of Meuse in a landscape framed by the cliffs. The tour offers a more refined version of the Haute Meuse, between salons, plant perspectives and passage of the boats on the river.
