Gates of the Mountains is a spectacular passage from Missouri, where limestone cliffs seem to close around the water. The discovery is mainly by boat: the vertical walls, the river birds and the echoes of the canyon give a very concrete reading of the name chosen by the Lewis and Clark expedition.

Mount Helena City Park Almost starts in the city and climbs quickly towards ridges covered with grasses, pines and rocks. The trails offer frank views of the Helena, the valley and the surrounding mountains ; it is an ideal exit when you want to walk without organising a long excursion.
