Maligne Lake, Maligne Canyon and Jasper SkyTram provide Jasper's most telling landmarks. Together, they form a destination where mountain reliefs, shores and lakes, riverscapes and forests meet, with atmospheres that change over the course of the stages rather than just one uniform decor.

Maligne Lake
Maligne Lake elongate its turquoise waters between wooded and glacial peaks, in one of the most photogenic valleys of the Jasper. Cruises to Spirit Island show the depth of the lake, while the quieter shores offer canoeing, walking and attentive observation of light on the water.

Maligne Canyon
Maligne Canyon cut the limestone into narrow corridors where the water roars under the bridges and sometimes disappears into the rock. The visit is made by a succession of points of view, with waterfalls, pots and deep walls; in winter, the ice turns the canyon into blue and white decor.

Jasper SkyTram
The Jasper SkyTram climbs up the slopes of Whistlers Mountain and gives a wide view of the Athabasca Valley, the city and the peaks of the park. At the top, a trail allows you to gain even more height, where the air refreshes and the mountain lines pile up.

Pyramid Lake
Pyramid Lake often reflects the triangular silhouette of Pyramid Mountain, just minutes from the centre of Jasper. Its quiet shores, its island accessible by a footbridge and its canoe rentals make it a simple place to enjoy the mountain without long hiking.
