To understand what Kangerlussuaq is, you have to look at the Kangerlussuaq Museum, Russell Glacier and Ferguson Lake. These places give you a view of a territory marked by the countryside, mountain reliefs and natural spaces and allow you to move from emblematic sites to more intimate stages.

Between ice caps and the west coast of Greenland, Aasivissuit-Nipisat conserves camps, winter homes, caches and caribou hunting tracks. The site tells of patient seasonal migrations, where Inuit families followed animals, ice, sea and available resources.

Russell Glacier
The Russell Glacier forms a blue and white front that moves against a valley of moraine. The observation points remain on stable terrain and allow to hear cracks or to see fragments detach at a distance.
