In Put-in-Bay, Perry's Victory and International Peace Memorial is located on a clear column above Lake Erie, visible from a distance between marinas and low houses. The visit links the Battle of Lake Erie to peace between the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom, while the gazebo opens a wide circle of water, islands and low banks.

Kelleys Island Glacial Grooves
The Glacial Grooves of Kelleys Island make visible the action of the glacier on the limestone, line after line, along a protected pass.
