Long wild coast of beaches, caps, forests and ojibwe pictograms on the largest of the Great Lakes.
Pictograms of Agawa Rock, Nokomis Trail and Sand River Falls give the most telling landmarks of the Superior Lake Provincial Park. Together, they form a destination where the coastline, shores and lakes, forests and heritage meet, with atmospheres that change over the stages rather than just one uniform decor.

Ochre paintings by Anishinaabes appear on a cliff directly on the edge of Lake Superior. The approach is made on a rocky cornice exposed to the waves; the site is only accessible when water and weather allow a safe passage.
