Sinks Canyon State Park
Sinks Canyon State Park due its name to the Popo Agie River, which disappears in a limestone cavity before reappearing lower in a clear basin. The phenomenon intrigues as much as the canyon itself, with easy paths, cliffs and access from Lander for a half-day in nature.

Cirque of the Towers
The Cirque of the Towers forms a granite amphitheatre in the Wind River Range, sought by experienced climbers and hikers. The approach is long, but the arrival between needles, lakes and walls gives one of the most prominent alpine scenery of Wyoming.

Popo Agie Falls is joined by a path near Lander, in the foothills of the Wind River Range. The waterfall slides on clear rock slabs, with basins and pine trees around; the exit remains accessible while giving a true mountain taste.

Fremont Lake
Fremont Lake stretch at the foot of the Wind River Range in a deep glacial basin, bordered by steep slopes and cold water. Near Pinedale, it attracts fishing, sailing, swimming and views of the peaks, with a more alpine atmosphere than the classic lake.
