The Ananda temple presents a plan organized around halls and great representations of the Buddha. It belongs to the sacred landscape of Bagan; the inner routes must be confirmed according to the state of the site.

Dhammayangyi Temple
Dhammayangyi is distinguished by its mass of brick and its settlement in the Bagan plain. The photograph documents a monument; it does not allow to affirm that its galleries are open.

Shwezigon combines a golden stupa with spaces for worship and circulation. It belongs to a living religious tradition, distinct from the plain’s archaeological remains alone.
