To understand what Prizren is, look at Fortress Prizren, Stone Bridge and Mosque Sinan Pasha. These places give us a view of a territory marked by urban life, heritage, riverscapes and mountain reliefs and allow us to move from emblematic sites to more intimate stages.

For a stay of 2 to 4 days, it is better to balance visits and travel times. Also to be anticipated: steep climb towards the fortress and heat possible in summer. The trip can be organised without a car if the drop point and local connections are selected in advance. Accessibility varies from site to site and deserves to be checked step by step.

The fortress of Prizren The climb is quite steep, but it rewards with the best reading of the urban site, especially when light descends on roofs, minarets and bridges.

Stone bridge
The stone bridge concentrates the most intimate image of Prizren, between river, low facades and passages towards the alleys of the center. The stop is short, but it works as a natural anchor point to radiate towards mosques, churches and nearby cafes.
Mosque
Mosquée Sinan Pacha
The Sinan Pasha mosque imposes its dome and minaret in the heart of the Prizren, facing the slopes that go up towards the fortress. Its location gives a very legible visit to the Ottoman center, to be approached with respect to religious usages and timetables.
