Puebla de Sanabria is a small fortified town with stone houses dating back to a castle overlooking the Tera Valley. Monastère de San Martín de Castañeda
The monastery of San Martín de Castañeda houses a sober Romanesque church and ancient monastic buildings on the lake's heights. Its clear stone, silence and views of the valley immediately put the building in its mountain environment. The visit naturally combines with the road to Laguna de los Peces.
