Place indismissible
Home of Mao Zedong
The family farm presents the rooms and objects associated with Mao's childhood. An early visit to Mao allows you to better observe local usages and the details of the place, while avoiding some of the groups and traffic.
Museum
Mao Memorial Museum
The museum develops the official account of its life and the Chinese revolution. The collections and remains take time to go beyond a mere photographic stop; a visit to the museum helps to understand their regional historical context.
Place indismissible
Pic Shao
A wooded hill dominates the villages and rice fields around the main memorial area. Distances, weather and access conditions must be checked before departure; water, adapted shoes and hourly margin remain useful outside the cities.
