Cummins Falls State Park is organized around a shoal cascade that falls into a rocky basin, at the bottom of a wooded gorge. Access requires walking on an irregular terrain, sometimes in the water, which gives swimming a real taste of effort. Hot days attract many people; off-peak, the noise of the fall resumes the whole place.
