The discovery of Victoriaville and Arthabaska is based around the Laurier Museum, Mount Arthabaska and the Parc lineare des Bois-Francs. The stay thus alternates between urban life, the countryside, mountain reliefs and heritage, giving a concrete picture of the destination beyond its only best known site.

The Musée Laurier Wilfrid Laurier's Victorian house in Arthabaska, with living rooms, furniture and objects that place the politician in his intimate setting. The visit speaks as much of bourgeois life as of Canadian history, in an area where ancient houses still give relief to the story.

Mount Arthabaska
Mount Arthabaska dominates Victoriaville without imposing a long climb, which makes it easy to access a beautiful panorama of the Bois-Francs. Trails, gazebo and pavilion allow to quickly pass from the city to the forest, with particularly sharp colors in autumn.

Bois-Francs linear park
The Bois-Francs Linear Park follows the old track transformed into a soft track for cycling and walking. Victoriaville, villages, fields and woods, it gives a slow and pleasant way to cross the area, with little elevation and many possible stops.

Réservoir Beaudet
The Beaudet Reservoir is a large urban water body where Victoriaville comes to walk, pedal and observe birds. The managed banks open wide views of the water and the sky, particularly interesting during migration passages, when bird gatherings completely alter the atmosphere of the site.
