Žemaitija and Plateliai
Deep lakes, forests, Samugitian villages and memory of the cold war in the inner west.
The discovery of Žemaitija and Plateliai is structured around Žemaitija National Park, Lake Plateliai and Cold War Museum. The stay thus alternates between the shores and the lakes, forests, heritage and natural spaces, giving a concrete picture of the destination beyond its only best known site.

Công viên tự nhiên
Žemaitija National Park
The National Park of Žemaitija Protects Lake Plateliai, the wooded hills and villages where Samoan culture remains very present. The trails, bike paths and small roads give access to a landscape of dark lakes, chapels, meadows and thick forests.
Hồ
Lake Plateliai
The Lake Plateliai is the great mirror of the Samogiti, punctuated by islands and bordered by beaches, forests and archaeological sites. By bike, on foot or on the water, the banks reveal changing views, between discreet coves, reeds and villages set in a quiet setting.
Bảo tàng
la Guerre froide Museum
The Musée de la Guerre froide occupies a former Soviet nuclear missile base buried under the forest. Silos, technical corridors, equipment and maps place atomic fear in a precise material setting, far from abstract windows and smooth military narratives.
