River town around the Brda, between the islands of the mills, canals, brick architecture and more discreet atmosphere than Toruń.
To understand what Bydgoszcz is, you must look to the side of the Island of the Mills, Brda and Exploseum. These places give us a view of a territory marked by urban life, riverscapes and heritage and allow us to move from emblematic sites to more intimate stages.

For a stay of 1 to 3 days, it is better to balance visits and travel times. Also to be expected: less well known destination and short stay. Island of the Mills
The Île des moulins concentrates the most pleasant face of Bydgoszcz between arms of the Brda, old attices, museums and lawns by the water. The reflections of the brick buildings and the walkways give a compact walk, easy to associate with the nearby center.

The Brda structure Bydgoszcz More than it simply crosses it, with docks, locks, renovated warehouses and terraces along the water. The boats, bridges and industrial facades give the city a river tone very different from the Gothic squares of Toruń.

Exploseum
The Exploseum occupies a former explosives factory hidden in the woods, with tunnels, concrete buildings and routes on the war industry. The site is as interesting for its underground atmosphere as for the precise narrative of forced labour, military technologies and industrial ruins.
