Cumes preserves one of the oldest Greek presences of Campania, with the acropolis, the galleries dug in the tuff and the anterior associated with the Sibyl. Between Naples, Procida and Ischia, the site brings an ancient depth to the volcanic landscape of the Phlegrian Champs.
