概述
Enshi and its grand canyon
Limestone gorges, turquoise rivers and Tujia culture characterize the mountainous west of Hubei.
Enshi Grand Canyon, Qingjiang River and Enshi Tisi City give the most telling landmarks of Enshi and large canyon. Together, they form a destination where urban life, mountain reliefs, riverscapes and heritage meet, with atmospheres that change over the stages rather than just one uniform decor.

For a stay of 2 to 5 days, it is better to balance visits and travel times. Also to be anticipated: conditions to be checked according to the season. A car is usually the easiest way to connect the different sectors. The main sites are generally easy to access.

Nature and panorama
Enshi's Grand Canyon
Climbs, limestone needles and footbridges dominate a deeply-cashed valley. Distances, weather and access conditions must be checked prior to departure; water, adapted shoes and time margins remain useful outside cities.

Qingjiang River
The river crosses the karst reliefs of the prefecture before reaching the Yangzi. The season, the wind and the water level greatly alter the experience; we must also respect the fragile banks and the possible local restrictions.

Tisi City of Enshi
A reconstructed ensemble presents architecture and political history of the Tujia populations. An early visit allows to better observe the local usages and details of the place, while avoiding some of the groups and traffic.
