概述
Guge and Zanda
Ruins of the kingdom of Guge, monasteries and clay canyons occupy one of the most isolated areas of Western Tibet.
The discovery of Guge and Zanda is based on Guge Ruins, Tholing Monastery and Zanda Land Forest. The stay thus alternates between desert areas, heritage, mountain reliefs and natural areas, giving a concrete picture of the destination beyond its only best known site.
檢視全部
For a stay of 2 to 5 days, it is better to balance visits and travel times. Also to be anticipated: conditions to be checked according to the season. A car is usually the easiest way to connect the different sectors. Accessibility varies from site to site and deserves to be verified step by step.

一份幫你開始憧憬和安排旅程的精選——並非所有可看之處的完整清單。

Must-see place
Guge Ruins
Palaces, caves and temples in ruins lie on a hilltop overlooking the Sutlej valley. Stairs, altitude and fragility of paintings require a guided tour without haste. A slow visit allows to go beyond the only points of view best known.

Monastery
Tholing Monastery
Tholing was a major centre of the Buddhist renaissance of Western Tibet from the 10th century onwards. The remaining buildings take on their meaning with the history of Guge and Himalayan exchanges.

Must-see place
Zanda Earth Forest
Erosion has cut the deposits of the valley into towers, ravines and ochre ridges. The road offers several views, but runway exits and prohibited areas must be avoided.
