A spa town of wood and a large bird's-eye on the Estonian west coast.
To understand what Haapsalu and Matsalu are, you must look at the castle of Haapsalu, Haapsalu Station and Matsalu National Park. These places give us a view of a territory marked by urban life, the coastline, wetlands and heritage and allow us to move from emblematic sites to more intimate stages.

Haapsalu Castle
The castle of Haapsalu enclosed a vast grassy courtyard and a restored cathedral in the heart of the spa town. The ruined walls, stone passages and views of the nearby roofs give the place an atmosphere of fortress assailed by daily life.

Gare de Haapsalu
The railway station Haapsalu Surprises by its long covered dock, designed to accommodate travelers from the Russian imperial court. The wooden pavilions, clocks and rails that became silent tell the time when the spa was joining as an elegant retreat by the sea.

Matsalu National Park
Matsalu is a bird landscape primarily: reeds, flood meadows, mudslides and islets change to the rhythm of migration. Spring and autumn attract patient observers, while the towers and paths allow to look without disturbing nesting areas.
