Port Ellen
Port Ellen offers one of the most legible arrivals of Islay, with its port, clear beach and houses facing the bay. The village also serves as a starting point for the distilleries on the south coast; on the return, the evening light on the water gives the place a very island softness.

Laphroaig Distillery
In Laphroaig Distillery, the whisky of Islay takes a concrete form: smell of peat, white buildings on the edge of the water and warehouses marked by sea air. A guided tour helps to connect the taste of the house with the surrounding landscape, with a preferred reservation during the busy period.
