概述
Kamakura and Enoshima
Former capital of temples and gardens extended by a coastal island, beaches and views of Sagami Bay.
The discovery of Kamakura and Enoshima is structured around Grand Buddha of Kamakura, Shrine Tsurugaoka Hachimangū and Enoshima Island. The stay thus alternates between urban life, the coastline, heritage and natural spaces, giving a concrete picture of the destination beyond its only best known site.

For a stay of 2 to 4 days, a quiet rhythm works well. Also to be anticipated: conditions to be checked according to the season. A car is usually the easiest way to connect different sectors. The main sites are generally easy to access.

Place indismissible
Grand Buddha of Kamakura
The Grand Bouddha de Kamakura stands in the open air in the enclosure of the temple Kōtoku-in, after the disappearance of its old building. The bronze statue impresses with its proportions but also with the simplicity of the site, bordered by wooded hills just a few streets from the coast.

神廟
Tsurugaoka Hashimangū Shrine
Tsurugaoka Hachimangū closes the great perspective that crosses Kamakura From the sea. Stairs, ponds and pavilions tell the political role of the former war capital, while side streets allow to reach small temples and residential areas.

Place indismissible
d'Enoshima Island
Enoshima is joined on foot by a dike before climbing between shrines, gardens, caves and sea gazebos. In clear weather, the coast opens views to Mount Fuji, but the island also retains its interest in fog thanks to its narrow alleys and its compact relief.
