The Keweenaw route links mining remains, old quarters and small museums on the peninsula, which makes the impression of copper on the landscape feel concretely. It is gradually understood how villages, alleys and topography have been built around the same rhythm of industrial work.

Brockway Mountain Drive On a ridge above Copper Harbor, with wide openings on Lake Superior and the peninsula. The route, very visual, also becomes a natural observation post for raptors who slide along the migration corridors as the seasons pass.

Copper Harbor Light
The Copper Harbor Lighthouse, set within the historic Fort Wilkins Park, still serves as a signal on the lakeside. Its sober volume recalls the maritime era while giving a strong landmark from the harbour, where the wind and small boats are always heard.
