Namtso Lake
Large salty lake of altitude, rocky peninsulas and chain of Nyenchen Tanglha form an austere landscape subject to Tibetan access rules.
To understand what Lake Namtso is, you must look at Lake Namtso, Tashi Dor Peninsula and Channel Nyenchen Tanglha. These places give you a view of a territory marked by shores and lakes, mountain reliefs and natural spaces and allow you to move from emblematic sites to more intimate stages.

Namtso Lake
Namtso extends more than 4,700 meters in front of the snowy peaks of Nyenchen Tanglha. Extreme altitude, cold and wind make any excursion demanding despite road access. Light, wind and season are a major transformation of the landscape.

Tashi Dor moves through the lake between caves, rocks and small hermitage. Infrastructure and access have changed recently; the route has to be confirmed with the approved agency. A slow visit allows to go beyond the only points of view best known.
