Pingliang and Mount Kongtong
Taoist mountain, temples and Jing Valley make up a green stage east of Gansu.
Pingliang Museum, Pingliang River Jing and Pingliang City give the most telling landmarks of Pingliang and Kongtong Mountain. Together, they form a destination where urban life, mountain reliefs and heritage meet, with atmospheres that change over the stages rather than just one uniform decor.

The river crosses the urban valley before reaching Wei further east. Season, wind and water level greatly alter the experience; it is also necessary to respect the fragile banks and any local restrictions.
