Kaiyuan is dominated by two large stone pagodas in the heart of the old city. Courts, ancient trees and sculptures testify to the richness of the medieval port. Architectural details are better discovered without haste.

Pont de Luoyang
This long stone bridge crosses an estuary north of Quanzhou Since the 11th century. Tides, mangroves and surrounding villages make its structure more legible on foot. The beginning of the day usually offers more calm.
