The relief organizes the views and streets, much more than a regular plan. The neighbouring village of Yörük allows this architectural reading to be extended in a more rural setting.
To understand what Safranbolu is, you must look at the historical districts of Safranbolu, Mosque İzzet Mehmet Pasha and Caravanserail Cinci Han. These places give you a view of a territory marked by urban life, heritage and countryside and allow you to move from emblematic sites to more intimate stages.

For a stay of 2 to 3 days, a quiet rhythm works well. Also to be anticipated: enhanced vigilance and sloping and paved streets; Yörük requires a displacement out of the center. A car is usually the easiest way to connect the different sectors. However, some sites require more walking, elevation or preparation.

Built in 1645, Cinci Han is a large caravan in the historic centre of Safranbalu. Its courtyard and its two levels testify to the welcome of the merchants; the nearby bath belongs to the same foundation of Cinci Hoca.

In the east of Safranbolu, Yörük maintains houses and protected streets that prolong the discovery of regional habitat. The large houses, the mosque and the old washhouse give several points of reading of his village organization.
