Oia aline white houses, stairs, blue domes and terraces on the edge of the caldeira, on the northern tip of Santorin. The village is very popular at sunset, but the morning alleys and views to Ammoudi reveal its volumes carved into the rock.

Fira overlooks the Caldera with its shopping alleys, suspended terraces and stairs that descend to the old port. More active than Oia, the capital of the Santorin concentrates museums, buses, restaurants and volcanic views, making it an effective starting point on the island.

The caldera of Santorin is the great marine void left by the volcano, bordered by dark cliffs and white villages. From Fira, Imerovigli or Oia, the look is towards volcanic islands, tiny boats and lava strata that give its relief to the island.

Anafi offers a more nude and quieter face of the Cyclades, with a modest port, a white chora hanging on the slope and often poorly equipped beaches.
