Place indismissible
Grenen
Grenen is an arrow of sand where the waves of the Skagerrak and Kattegat meet in cross currents. The walk to the tip gives a sensation of end of the country, but the swimming remains dangerous.

Skagen Museum
The museum gathers the painters attracted to Skagen by its light and the life of the fishermen at the end of the 19th century. The paintings take on another strength after seeing the beaches, dunes and yellow houses that inspired them.

Stubbed Church
From the old church of St. Lawrence remains only a white tower rising in the middle of the dunes. The short path in vegetation tells better than long speeches the power of sand that forced the parish to abandon the place.
