Canal, theatre and industrial heritage are the twin cities at the mouth of Skienselva.
The discovery of Skien and Porsgrunn is based around the Henrik Ibsen Museum, Løveid Locks and Porsgrunn Porcelain Museum. The stay thus alternates between urban life, riverscapes and heritage, giving a concrete picture of the destination beyond its only best known site.
