Tafraoute and the Ammeln Valley
Tafraoute is located in the heart of the Anti-Atlas, in a landscape of rocky reliefs and Amazigh habitat. The valley of Ammeln stretches under the Jbel Lkest, while the gorges of Aït Mansour house a palm grove. These three sectors comprise an exploration where villages, agriculture and forms of relief count as much as panoramas.
The discovery of Tafraoute and the Ammeln is based around Tafraoute, Ammeln Valley and Gorges and palm groves of Aït Mansour. The stay thus alternates between mountain reliefs, the countryside, natural spaces and heritage, giving a concrete picture of the destination beyond its only best known site.

For a stay of 3 to 5 days, it is better to balance visits and travel times. Also to be anticipated: aït Mansour here refers to Moroccan gorges; mountain roads and strong heats to be taken into account. A car is usually the easiest way to connect the different sectors. However, some sites require more walking, elevation or preparation.
