The Moldoveanu is the highest peak of Romania, in the heart of the Făgăraș mountains, with long ridges, glacial lakes and exposed passageways. Transfăgărășan, it attracts trained hikers: the approach remains serious, the weather changes quickly and distances really feel on the edges.
