To understand what Ulsan is, you have to look at Daewangam Park, Taehwagang National Garden and Bangudae Petroglyphs. These places give you a view of a territory marked by the big city, the coastline, heritage and natural spaces and allow you to move from emblematic sites to more intimate stages.

Daewangam Park
Daewangam covers a rocky point of pines connected to an island by a gateway to the east sea. The trails alternate forest, cliffs and open views, offering an image of Ulsan far removed from its large industrial complexes.

Taehwagang National Garden follows the river in the heart of the Ulsan old restored land. Bamboo, rose garden, flower fields and bird observatories show how a degraded industrial corridor has been transformed into a large ecological and daily space.

Pétroglyphes de Bangudae
Bangudae preserves engravings of terrestrial animals, whales and hunting scenes on a wall over the Daegok River. Visibility depends on water and light; the interpretive centre helps to read figures difficult to distinguish from at a distance.
