概述
Wudang Mountains
Taoist temples, stairs and wooded ridges make up a major religious landscape in the northwest of Hubei.
To understand what Wudang Mountains are, you must look to the Golden Summit of Wudang, Zixiao Palace and Nanyan Palace. These places give you a view of a territory marked by mountain reliefs, forests, heritage and natural spaces and allow you to move from emblematic sites to more intimate stages.

World Heritage
Ensemble de bâtiments anciens des montagnes de Wudang
In the mountains of Wudang, palaces, Taoist temples, doors and stairs cling to the wooded slopes of Hubei. The site combines imperial architecture with sacred relief: varnished roofs, successive courtyards and mountain paths lead to shrines where Taoist history remains very present.
Place indismissible
Wudang Gold Summit
A bronze sanctuary crowns the Tianzhu peak at the end of a long ritual climb. A visit early in the day makes it possible to better observe local usages and the details of the place, while avoiding some of the groups and traffic.
宮殿
Zixiao Palace
The Palace of the Purple Cloud remains one of the most conserved active Taoist ensembles of the massif. Collections and remains take time to exceed a mere photographic stop; a visit to them helps to understand their regional historical context.
宮殿
Nanyan Palace
Buildings and a rock sanctuary cling to a spectacular cliff on the southern slope. Collections and remains take time to exceed a mere photographic stop; a visit to the site helps to understand their regional historical context.
