Zhangjiakou and Chongli
Former caravan gate became a territory of winter sports, between walls, dry valleys and built mountains.
The discovery of Zhangjiakou and Chongli is centred around Porte Dajingmen, District of Chongli and Old Quarter of Xuanhua. The stay thus alternates between urban life, mountain reliefs, heritage and natural spaces, giving a concrete picture of the destination beyond its only best known site.

Xuanhua was an important Ming garrison and preserved towers, temples and fragments of ramparts in the middle of a still inhabited centre. The main remains are joined on foot around the old shopping routes, away from the stations of Chongli.
