概述
亚琛
Thermal and imperial town with Belgian and Dutch borders, centered on the Charlemagne Cathedral.
The discovery of Aix-la-Chapelle revolves around the Cathedral of Aix-la-Chapelle, Rathaus Aachen and Elisenbrunnen. The stay thus alternates between urban life and heritage, which gives a concrete picture of the destination beyond its only best known site.

For a stay of 1 to 3 days, it is better to balance visits and travel times. Also to be anticipated: short stay and weather variable. The trip can be organised without a car if the drop point and local connections are selected in advance. Accessibility varies from site to site and deserves to be checked step by step.

遗产
Cathedral of Aachen
The Cathedral of Aachen impresses with its Carolingian heart, mosaics and role linked to Charlemagne. The interior concentrates a rare density of European history, with an atmosphere more collected and precious than that of the great Gothic cathedrals.
地点
Elisenbrunnen
I'm not sure what I'm doing.Elisenbrunnen recalls the thermal vocation of Aix-la-Chapelle, with its clear colonnade and warm waters in the center of the city. The stop is short, but it gives a useful thread to understand the baths, springs and discreet elegance of the resort.
遗产
Charlemagne Centre
The Charlemagne Centre illuminates the history of Aachen from the figure of Charlemagne and the European role of the city. It is a useful visit before or after the cathedral, to place the monuments in a more readable narrative without getting lost in the details.
地点
Dreiländereck
The Dreiländereck attracts by its symbolic situation, at the point of encounter between Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands. We come there less for a monument than for the geographical experience, the views and the simple pleasure of passing from one country to another in a few steps.
