Lake
Mirror Lake
Mirror Lake Directly accompanies the village of Lake Placid with clear reflections and a very accessible use. Walking around the edge allows you to enter the Adirondacks without effort, while preparing for a transition to more committed areas of the region.
Summit
Whiteface Mountain

The access road and the last passages to the top make quickly switch from the tight forest to an open landscape, sometimes swept by the wind. By clear sky, the gaze takes far enough to grasp the magnitude of the massif.
Throat
Ausable Chasm

Hiking
High Peaks Wilderness
