概述
Amiens and the Hortillonnages
Cathedral, canal-gardens, Saint-Leu district and gentle getaway north of Paris.
The discovery of Amiens and Hortillonnages revolves around Cathedral, Hortillonnages and Channels. The stay thus alternates between urban life, heritage, riverscapes and natural spaces, giving a concrete picture of the destination beyond its only best known site.

For a stay of 1 to 3 days, a quiet rhythm works well. Also to be anticipated: short stay and variable weather. The trip can be organised without a car if the drop point and local connections are selected in advance. The main sites are generally easy to access.

Cathedral
Cathédrale Notre-Dame d'Amiens
Our Lady of God Amiens First seized by the momentum of its Gothic facade, covered with carved portals and characters tight in the stone. Inside, the very high nave gives an impression of vertical breath; the stalls, the labyrinth and the games of light extend the visit without the effect of a frozen museum.
街区
Quartier Saint-Leu
Quartier Saint-Leu is first lit by the streets of character, then by the small gestures of neighborhood: displays, venals, facades. The place does not need to be spectacular, it requires a pace of discovery at the pedestrian level. In the morning, the most legible gestures are offered.
花园
Hortillonnages
The Hortillonnages are discovered by boats, canals and lifts that organize a landscape of living water. Each shot from a low point tells another organization of the territory. A passage with little precipitation allows you to hear the real movement of the place.
博物馆
Maison de Jules Verne
The Maison de Jules Verne invites you to a more intimate reading: garden, interior volumes, horizontal circulation, carpentry details. The contrast between closed space and exterior opening is striking when the light remains soft. A time dedicated to the garden before the inside visit improves the understanding of the course.
