Branicki Palace
The Palais Branicki gives to Białystok Its most noble décor, with courtyard, regular gardens and carefully restored Baroque facades. The whole, now linked to the University of Medicine, is visited mainly for its external perspectives and its atmosphere of Polish magnate residence.

The Rynek Kościuszki the city hall, the terraces and the low facades of the centre of Białystok. Around this elongated square, the city reveals its mixture of Catholic, Orthodox, Jewish and merchant traditions, in a more daily than monumental atmosphere.

Supraśl, at the edge of the forest of Knyszyn, combines Orthodox monastery, wooden houses and quiet little resort. The icons museum gives there a strong cultural reason to exit from Białystok, with an atmosphere of Podlachie very different from the city.
