Hills
Chiltern Hills
The Chiltern Hills give a rolling breath of soft lines, ribbon forests and views of the Thames Valley. The walk reads like a series of swings: gentle slope, plateau, clearing, then back. The landscape is best when you leave space at the pace of the paths.
Natural area
Ashridge Estate
I'm not sure what I'm doing.Ashridge Estate combines wooded spaces, walking routes and landscape lines that guide a progressive walk. The site lends itself to an alternate discovery between open areas and more intimate areas. Clear afternoon hours value reliefs and give matter to points of view.
Bourg de Thames
Marlow
Marlow has a coherent river village identity: dock, waterfront and houses that frame the Thames without crushing the local rhythm. The city offers details that appear by strolling: bridges, facades, small square animations. A water-side break reveals its simplest dimension.
Manor
Waddesdon Manor
Waddesdon Manor seduces by an aristocratic art of living inscribed in architecture and its beds, where each area announces an intention. The place reads well by going through all the external perspectives before the entrance of the main rooms. Light highlights matter and composition.
