Élée, or Velia, preserves on a hill close to the sea the remains of a Greek and then Roman city: monumental gate, ancient streets, thermal baths and traces of habitat. The site speaks especially to travelers already passed by Paestum, as it shows another side of the Cilento antique, more discreet and more staggered.
