For a stay of 1 to 6 days, a quiet rhythm works well. Also to be anticipated: seasonality to check and sometimes important distances. The trip can be organised without a car if the drop point and local connections are selected in advance. Accessibility varies from site to site and deserves to be verified step by step.

Culture and heritage
Dartmouth College
Dartmouth campus articulates Gothic pavilions and green spaces in a very readable geometry from the centre of Hanover. Historical buildings and interior courtyards give very precise framings, such as a photographic crossing throughout the day. It is a university culture that remains rooted in the city.
湖
Lake Sunapee
Around Lake Sunapee, the banks and small coves alternate with resort villages that are slowly aging. Crossing the lake, you can see the relationship between wood and calm waters better than anywhere else. The beaches offer a breathing time when the journey by car seems too linear.
Nature and landscape
Saint-Gaudens National Historical Park
The Saint-Gaudens Park mixes the artist's house, gardens and workshops with attention to the views of Mount Ascutney, which avoids the impression of a closed museum. Between bronzes and reconstructed daily life, one understands the daily life of an active creator. It is a place where art is read in the landscape.
