Tomb of Amyntas, Kayaköy — ancient Livissi and Ölüdeniz give the most telling landmarks of Fethiye and Ölüdeniz. Together, they form a destination where urban life, the coastline, mountain reliefs and natural spaces meet, with atmospheres that change over the course of the stages rather than just one uniform decor.

For a stay of 4 to 7 days, it is better to balance visits and travel times. Also to be anticipated: saklıkent depends on water level; cliff paths of the valley of Butterflies not like a family walk. A car is usually the easiest way to connect the different sectors. Accessibility varies from site to site and deserves to be verified step by step.

The tomb of Amyntas is carved in the rock above Fethiye and belongs to the Lycian funerary heritage of the ancient Telmessos. It allows us to approach an ancient history still visible in the relief of the present city.

Kayaköy preserves the remains of a habitat once occupied by a Greek population in the heights near Fethiye. The abandoned houses bear witness to the break-up of the early twentieth century, beyond their landscaping interests.
