概述
Inuvik and the Mackenzie Delta
Arctic City and Channels Labyrinth form the great cultural and natural crossroads of the Mackenzie Delta.
The discovery of Inuvik and Mackenzie Delta is centred around Igloo Church, Western Arctic Regional Visitor Centre and Mackenzie River Delta. The stay thus alternates between riverscapes, wetlands, heritage and natural areas, giving a concrete picture of the destination beyond its only best known site.

Must-see place
Igloo Church
L的Igloo Church, officially Our Lady of Victory, gives Inuvik one of its most recognizable silhouettes with its rounded white shape. Inside, wood, soft light and religious works create a warmer atmosphere than its exterior suggests. The building also reflects the adaptation of a symbolic architecture to the climate of the North.
Culture and heritage
Western Arctic Regional Visitor Centre
The Western Arctic Regional Visitor Centre serves as a convenient gateway to Inuvik, the Mackenzie Delta and the Tuktoyaktuk Road. It contains maps, exhibitions, cultural information and advice on local conditions. Presentations help to locate Inuvialuit and Gwich'in communities before heading to the tracks, lakes or Arctic Ocean.
Nature and scenery
Mackenzie River Delta
The Mackenzie River Delta draws a maze of channels, lakes, low islands and northern reeds around Inuvik. Seen from the air or from the water, the landscape seems moving, shared between sediments, reflections and passages of boats. It is a living environment for birds, fish and seasonal movements between communities.
