Between Jijel and Zyama Mansouriah, the reliefs of the Babors reach directly to the Mediterranean. Taza Park protects part of this forest landscape, while the wonderful Caves give a view of its limestone basement. The stay connects the coastal city, the coves and the slopes, without confusing panoramic road with walking path.
To understand what Jijel is and the coast of the Babors, you must look at the side of Taza National Park, Jijel, the town of the cornice and Zyama Mansouriah. These places give you a view of a territory marked by the coastline, forests, mountain reliefs and natural spaces and allow you to move from emblematic sites to more intimate stages.

The Taza Park protects part of the Guerrouch forest massif in the Jijel region. Its reliefs bring together forest and Mediterranean coastlines; high areas may experience very different conditions from those of the seashore.

Jijel is a Mediterranean city whose economy and landscapes remain linked to the port and fisheries. It is a starting point for the Jijelian cornice, while maintaining an urban interest distinct from the caves and the Taza Park.

Zyama Mansouriah is a coastal municipality in the wilaya of Jijel, located between sea and reliefs. It gives its name to a stage of the cornice and to the territory of the wonderful Caves, but the city and the cavities are distinct places.

Wonderful caves of Dar El Oued
The Marvellous Caves are limestone cavities of Zyama Mansouriah, famous for their stalactites and stalagmites. They belong to the karst landscape of the Jijelian cornice and are among the protected natural sites of the wilaya, distinctly from the prehistoric caves of Taza.
