Croagh Patrick attracts as much for its role as a pilgrimage mountain as for the immense view it offers on Clew Bay. The climb is stony and sustained, therefore closer to a committed effort than to a walk; those who take their time find there a physical, spiritual or simply landscaped experience.

Keem Bay reveals itself at the end of a winding road in Achill, in an amphitheater of green slopes, light sand and very changing water. The place can be peaceful or spectacular depending on the weather, with an impression of the end of the world reinforced when clouds descend on cliffs.

Westport
Westport It is a pleasant city with its planned streets, bridges, pubs and quick access to Clew Bay. It is less interested in an isolated monument than in its balance: living enough to spend the evening there, close enough to the landscapes of the Mayo to radiate easily.
