The Old Menton is a suite of colourful facades, gables opening onto intimate pedestrian crossings and stairways leading to unexpected views. The walk is better off without a mental map: you go up a corridor, you fork, and the city tells itself by its details. During the day, the sloping alleys make exploration very fluid.

Jardin botanique du Val Rahmeh
The Botanical Garden of Val Rahmeh gathers tropical and subtropical plants in Menton in a terraced estate. Its aisles, basins and botanical collections are a truly visitable, clearly identified place where the microclimate of the Riviera is read through species from all over the world.

Sainte-Agnès
Sainte-Agnès hangs its alleys over Menton, with terraces that open suddenly to the sea and the mountains. The village gains to be travelled early, before the heat, when the stone passages, gardens and viewpoints still keep their calm.
