Museum of Modern History of Mokpo
The museum of modern history occupies the former Japanese consulate, a brick building overlooking part of the old Mokpo. His exhibitions address the opening of the port, the colonial period and urban transformations, with an indispensable context to read the surrounding streets.

Gatbawi Rocks
Gatbawi refers to two rock formations sculpted by erosion at the water's edge, whose silhouette evokes people wearing a traditional hat. A floating bridge allows them to be observed closely while following the cultural coastline of the Mokpo.

Dadohaehaesang protects a vast rosary of islands, cliffs and channels along the southwest coast. In the Sinan archipelago, ferries and trails provide access to a few areas, but schedules and distances require a precise organization.
