Chichi Island
Chichi-jima is the inhabited entry point of the Ogasawara, with its hills covered with subtropical forest, coral coves and sea trips to dolphins or whales depending on the season. Distance from Tokyo imposes a slow journey, but gives the island a rare atmosphere in Japan.
