Castle
Orava Castle
The castle of Orava rises on terraces on a rock above the river, with a very recognizable silhouette. The visit requires a few stairs but rewards with views and a clear reading of successive defenses.
National Park
Malá Fatra
Malá Fatra combines ridges, forests, high meadows and valley villages around Terchová and Vrátna. The area allows you to choose between short walk, equipped gorge or more sustained hike to the peaks.
Gorges and waterfalls
Jánošíkove diery
Jánošíkove diery brings together footbridges, small canyons and waterfalls in a very playful hike near Terchová. The terrain can be wet, but the course gives an excellent introduction to the landscapes of Malá Fatra.
