概述
Pamplona and green Navarre
Navarra capital, the heritage of the Compostela road, forested valleys, villages and access to the western Pyrenees.
The discovery of Pamplona and Navarre verte revolves around Pamplona, Roncesvalles and Irati Forest. The stay thus alternates between urban life, heritage, forests and the countryside, which gives a concrete picture of the destination beyond its only best known site.

For a stay of 2 to 4 days, a quiet rhythm works well. Also to be expected: high influx during San Fermín and wetter weather in the north. A car is usually the easiest way to connect different sectors. Accessibility varies from site to site and deserves to be checked step by step.

City
Pamplona
Pamplona reveals itself as a first approach by the density of its streets and the way in which the city frames its daily life: facades, pedestrian crossings, rhythms of places. The contrasts come from corner details, discreet stairs and passage spaces. This type of walk is suitable for travellers who prefer to feel the city by sensations rather than by a list of monuments.
Stage of Camino
Roncesvalles
Roncesvalles has a path identity: historical threshold, simple alignments and presence of the pilgrimage route that gives a particular tone to each space. The modest buildings, the gentle slopes and the background landscape create a silent but powerful narrative. We understand the place better by approaching without running, at the pace of the marches.
Foret
Foret d'Irati
The forest of Irati is not limited to a scenery: a very sensitive geography is made up of trails, shades, clearings and water noise. The matter of the place is better captured by spacing the steps, with regular stops to listen to variations of sounds and light between pinewood and valley. The walk is more memorable than the finish.
